From 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on select Thursdays once or twice a month, participating Starbucks hold a BOGO Happy Hour for Starbucks App users. Many grande or larger mixed beverages are included, allowing customers to buy one and get the second beverage of equal or lesser value for free.

An alert and Buy One Get One Free coupon will be sent out through the Starbucks App to let customers know about Happy Hour. Customers can order more than one pair of qualifying drinks, though the Happy Hour coupon can only be used once per event.

Espresso-based drinks, Frappuccino Blended Beverages, seasonal drinks, iced teas, cold coffees and Nitro beverages are all included as qualifying Starbucks drinks. Hot brewed coffee, hot tea, ready-to-drink beverages (bottled water, bottled juice), Starbucks Reserve drinks and alcohol are not included in the Starbucks Happy Hour event.
